About the Cartoonist in his own words:

I have always enjoyed cartoons and I enjoy creating them, especially if others can Enjoy them as well.

I had started cartooning back in grade school much to the dismay of my teachers.

After starting college I created some cartoon characters to aid me in remembering class notes. All of my physics papers looked like crazy comic strips. They illustrated everything from the Doppler Effect to the Tensile strength of annealed iron. From these notes I had created the likes of Lennie Loon, Pig Iron, Chester Drawers, Smiley Sweatlidge and Gordon Katz.

I introduced Gordon Katz and his neighbors Celcie and Aduka Ilstead to the public through The Mountain Times. Ever since that time I have enjoyed putting Gordon and Aduka through the ropes.

This year marks twenty years of their exploits and my hope is that others are enjoying reading of their escapades as much as I am enjoying creating them.

E.H.
